Pastor Kong today was sharing about serving. How true it is! When he share about being a Christian& during his walk with God, He backslided for 4years. Yet when he come back to God, he was not defeated but staying strong&asking God, what can he do?. He came back serving from the bottom which is being an usher.
Thinking back, there was a period of 1year plus where i backslided from God. Things were tough for me. But when i make the decision to serve in usher, God begin to change the situation around. SERVANT HEART is the key!
NOW, i am still serving God the best He wants me to be. :)

After Looking at the video - SICHUAN earthquake during church svc today. I couldn't help but tears keep flowing down my eyes. It just couldn't stop. Knowing how fortunate we are actually.
Sun, you're really making an impact in the world.
Beyond words can expressed the love that you've for people.
I would want to be like you, loving people with the love of God.

Camp Phenomena 2008!
It was really one of the best camp i have ever attend. I really enjoy the friendship, the presence of God as well as all the games/events.

One of the event that really excite me was the Mock cg mtg. During the first day, we had the MOS, SOS and the DRAMA as well. Due to time constraint, our team didn't manage to go for the drama session. But i really enjoyed MOS and SOS.



Through the Sword of the spirit session, i manage to learn how to preach and every single time when we preach, we are giving people solid food. I am believing one day, i will step out&be bold to preach as well.



Jarad and stephanie share with us about how to lead prasie and worship and we should have the heart of God. Annoionting to lead people in the presence of God is very important. During this session, i really pay my fullest attention. I was really nervous as i know i will be leading worship during the Mock cg. In the night itself, i only manage to sleep 1hour, I was anxious, afraid that i can't lead people into God's presence. I keep praying&praying..And thank God for yan ming and delphine. I would say that YAMING is a good guitarist. Thanks 4 the time that you've stay out to practised with me. I really appreciate alot! For delphine, thanks 4 guiding me, teaching me how to be better. :) Finally, when it come to the real Mock cg, i was still nervous and shivering. But i told God, i will do my best& i know you are here. To a group of about 30over people, i was soft in the end& i didn't really bring them into the presence of God. However, i know it's my first time& i have done my best. I didn't feel i had done well, but i know i have put in effort. I know, " It is through failure that will bring me to become better" :)

To God: Thanks 4 this opportunity. I would wish to learn more about how to lead people into presence of God, i would want to have more opportunity to learn from people. I am afraid but i know when i am doing it for you, you will be here for me.

The other night activites that occurs was the Heroes&Heroine..



It was one of the activities where we got to find people like CATWOMAN, phua chu kang.. And our group( MANASSEH) won in this game! We manage to find Phua chu kang first& challenge many of the other groups.

I enjoy the drama, it was really touching. It shows that no matter what we are encountering, Jesus is always there protecting us! He love all of us..

My life this week..

Headed to a salon after my last mid-year paper. Finally! We been waiting and waiting.
I guess my hair is covering my eyes and it really makes me feel so unconfortable. haha.







Some say it wasn't obvious that i cut my hair, some say it's so obvious. haha.
Quite irony. But after the hair cut, i really feel much better. :)

Had a 2days rest on today till tmr. Went to bugis with a few friends. After examination is really a time for relaxation. haha. Was walking around, looking for present. Didn't really do anything much. But, we headed to arcade to play DAYTONA. I guess it was my first time in life playing that. Quite fun, but Jeslyn, you hit my car so many times!!! But i am still not bad, At least still 2nd in the first round. :)Went back to jeslyn house around 5plus and we chat a while before heading home.

Was waken up by Xiao Zhi hong.I am meeting with the junior for a movie plus breakfast. I must say that they are really energetic. Maybe bcos they are still young? haha. I drag myself up for a fruitful day of meeting all my friends to catch up since there are 2 days holiday.:)

Watch SPEED RACER with them. Hmm, when i step into the cinema, the seat were all filled with guys. I was feeling so weird but at last, i manage to see a few girls walking in before the movie start. :) Overall quite okay not a very bad show either. Maybe not to my interest. haha.

I am back to school.. Got back most of my result. It was really a disaster MID-YEAR exam i ever had. Disappointment upon disappointment.

Hey everyone, i am back. :)
Really wanna share a good news with all of you, which is...
I score A FOR the Advanced elective module course that i took last year,
The Fundamental of Entrepreneurship.
Also, i got a chance to do presentation at the teacher conference day with my the other 3friends who score A for the module as well.
I really got a shock when i heard about it, because i feel i didn't really put my 100% effort studying this test. However, i was overjoyed knowing about it. :))
Good things is that, i will have a higher chance in getting into this module after my o-level and it is a direct admission to polytechnic. But i have to make a decision by june.
Definitely, it will be one of my choice, but i am still deciding. haha.
Last year in Secondary school, i guess,a chance to go to teacher conference day was the most unexpected event which was included in my testimonial.

Went running at jurong west stadium today after school. I guess it has been a long time since i last had a chance to go running myself. I love going running alone at times because it will be a time where i will really relax myself and reflect in the things i have done.
As i was running today, God spoke to me,

The greatest perserverance is not running to be the winner,
but the grestest perserverance is your ability to run all the way till the end even
when you are the last.



It really speak to me. Just like my spiritual walk with God, my school, relationship with friends. God says, whatever you have done for me, it is not for the sake for people to see how good you are but it is when you are in heaven, God will say " well done, my faithful servant."
I feel there are times where i will make mistake, i will fall. However, it doesn't matter. PERSERVERANCE IS THE KEY! I may not be the most talented, i may not be the fastest runner, who will be the first in a race BUT i will use my talent to serve God and people the best i can, i will continue running to the end without giving up.
And God say: Eileen, in my eyes, You're great! Perserverance is going to bring you up to greater heights.
Just like Edmund post on prayer retreat, "When u slow down, u will hear my voice.". It's really a good feeling with God every single day of your life. :))

Believing all of us won't get sick as well because we played in the rain from morning till late afternoon ard 4plus.

Went to watch movie, The legend of water horse with Yawen, sophia after meeting up with delphine. :))

It was really a nice show. You guys should watch it.





I guess i could only rmb one sentence after the whole movie.
Yawen: Eileen, this show is really very nice leh.
And this sentence keeps repeating till i am not with her. haha.

But overall, i really feel it's a nice and touching show.:)

This week service was awesome! I could really feel a strong presence of God even when i was serving in usher. At that moment, i wish i could just stay in His presence without moving around. Honestly, I am really touch by the conviction God has put in my heart and words which He spoke to me this wk and last week.
God, my promise to you today will not be broken. :)
Went to fellowship at coffee bean after service today and was heading to escape after that with friends. But in the end, it rain so we catch a movie together instead. :)) Guys, really hope you all still have fun today :) with the movie and neoprint. Haha.

Today was really tiring. Wake up early in the morning to go to school for the sec 1 cca orientation. :). I was performing as well, in the CHOIR. It was fun and enjoyable though i wasn't having enough sleep. Overall, it wad good. And i really love the conductor right now, haha. He is really nice to us and his smile never fails to brighten up our day. :)).
Thank God for sending someone to me to encourage me. :)). She was a senior whom i don't even know at all. However, she walk towards me and say, " You have a nice voice and you was louder than the other solo. And you sing well." Thanks senior. YOU MAKE MY DAY! :)
I was encourage!! Was singing the solo part with the other 6 choir member and i sang wrongly for some part, was thinking to myself, did i sing well?! haha. I was nervous. Maybe had fright standing in the front?:) but i love singing! I would yearns to learn more..
Singing is my passion.

Yesh, school started for a few days, and i could say it's really very packed.
I end school at 5plus throughout all these days. Alot of work to do as well, chionging!

Went for service today. Pst tan message is really awesome!
CHANGES IS NECESSARY FOR GROWTH! I really learn alot today. It's really a power packed service. It seem to be like a revelation to me as well. I would remember
REPENT is going back to the highest level of thinking. Wow.

For the past few days, it's really tiring and busy. However, it's all worth it. :))

Went down to bugis with trudy to find cg after our stall thingy. We headed to Macdonal to eat with yee kiat as well as the others and after that to bugis street. Had quite a fun time gathering together and it's really joyous spending time together. We took quite a few photo and bought some stuff too! :) ALICIA, once again, thanks!

Went down to find amber they all for countdown after closing the stall again. :) Trudy went down with me as well. Thanks man! But bcos she thought timq will be there, however, he left. haha.

yEAh, for today, i am not serving. :) so YEAH, manage to take photo during candle light svc with my friends as well as myself. haha.

Overall, we earned quite a sum of money. Hmm,though it may not be alot. But anyway, it is a experience and friendship we have gained during these 4 days. :))
